2017 saw the release of two new architectural books authored by past Gabriel Laureates.
Spatial Speculations, Drawing from the Gardens of Versailles by 2007 laureate Joyce Rosner, gives readers an expanded glimpse into the Texas architect’s view of Versailles during her travels as a Gabriel Prize fellow.
1996 laureate Stephen W. Harby’s book, Robert Venturi’s Rome, “takes the reader on a journey back through time by visiting and discussing the Roman buildings and places that exemplify” the famed architect’s revolutionary ideas.
